Lots of your favorite feathered friends like Safflower but Grackles and Squirrels don’t! Discourage those pesky and messy birds by switching to Safflower for a bit, or mixing in Safflower to your favorite blend.
Safflower is the seed to combat squirrels and nuisance birds. Squirrels don’t like the bitter taste and birds such as grackles, starlings, house sparrows can’t crack or pry open this seed. Some of the birds who like safflower include: cardinals, chickadees, titmice, and nuthatch.
